How's your week been?
In truth, mine's been a mixed bag.
I've had a lot of fun launching my new collection - check your emails, if you missed that one!
But, the challenge of self-belief is never far away for a writer. It's like a cloud that determinedly hovers on the horizon to shed doubt on your plans, hopes, and aspirations.
Most of the time, I can stick two fingers up to it. But sometimes, just sometimes, it manages to sprinkle some drizzle on my cheery world.
And yes, it's been a bit like that this week for me. However, it never lasts for long. And that's partly because I have some fabulous friends who know just how to pick-me-up when I need it.
And with that said, I thought I'd share this poem with you in tribute to them.
