Respect and recognition of what it's like to live with an invisible illness - Poem by GK Kingsley

Happy Monday to you :-)

I wanted to share a recent piece that I wrote with you.

One of my lovely subscribers messaged me through my website to ask if I could write something about living with ‘invisible illness’.

This lady tackles the pain of fibromyalgia and the exhaustion of ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome day-in, day-out.

I confess, it's not something I've experienced myself, and her beautiful message to me made me stop and think… hard! How lucky am I?! And, far more importantly, how simply amazing and inspiring she is… and all who suffer silently silently with an ‘invisible illness’, perhaps in pain and exhaustion plus anxiety, climbing a mental mountain every day just to appear ‘normal’.

So inspiring, in fact, that I did some research and put pencil to paper.

If you suffer daily with an invisible condition, this is for you. And if you know someone who does… this is for them.

RESPECT! And big hug to you all!
