Happy Wednesday to you!
Apologies for my silence so far this week. It’s just been one of those ‘couple of days’. Too much to do, and not enough time to do it in.
I’m not complaining. I would rather be too busy than twiddling my thumbs. I’m very fortunate that I’m in such demand as a wordsmith. But a particular saying did cross my mind recently when I had to turn down a great writing project simply because I’m too busy. “The straw that broke the camel’s back…”
And that has prompted me to share this little piece of nonsense with you. I wrote it a while ago during different circumstances. But, if you’re feeling a bit burdened by it all at the moment… particularly if you feel a bit as though folk are trying to trip you up, this one is for you.
