My Inspiration for You are what you eat... I do, from time to time, check the ingredients in pre-prepared food, but I learnt a long time ago that there's no point when it comes to wine. One has to assume that grapes have been involved in the process... But I have noticed that bottles now often mention sulphites. They don't say why, or how much, but I'm assuming that they aren't the best of things for you and thus winemakers have to inform us of their inclusion (in very small text) somewhere on the label. I'm also assuming that there is a preservative aspect to their purpose... which is worth making the most of, I reckon! As the years pass over And everything heads south I've heard one's health is coloured By what's put inside one's mouth So if my droops are grapey pink From mixing reds and whites Do you think they need a sticker Saying, 'May contain sulphites'?
